Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse – Greens & Beyond

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
    100g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa), melted
    2 tablespoons maple syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    A pinch of sea salt
    Fresh berries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
    Add the melted dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the food processor.
    Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
    Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired.
    Transfer the mousse into serving bowls or cups and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
    Serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries and mint leaves if using.
